The gauge of the wire used from your motorhome to your tow vehicle and the length of it is probably why you aren't getting a really significant charge. It does sound like your tow vehicle is getting a charge on it's battery but it's not significant enough of a charge to keep it topped off since the wire is a lighter gauge. For your Coach step, it sounds like you could use some replacement parts. I recommend the Replacement Motor for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC301695 (you can reuse spacers if needed) and the gear # LC301696. These two parts could be the cause of the clicking noise, or you may just need the Replacement Self-Lubricating Bushing for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC116531 if the clicking is in the frame. The Voyager RV Backup Camera Monitor # VOM719WP has a quad screen display that allows you to observe 4 camera angles simultaneously around your RV or camper. You will have to splice a few wires but since they are all labeled its a super easy installation.
The overall dimensions of the monitor is 7-7/8 inches wide by 5-5/16 inch tall by 1-3/16 inches deep. If you could find out the overall dimensions of your monitor and reach back out to me I can find you the correct one.
